Dynamic, Always‑Accurate Assignments for Your Franchise Network

When someone's role or location changes, their tasks, training, and audits change with them

Assignments across Delightree — tasks, training paths, audits, forms, and policies — stay up to date automatically based on each user's current attributes. When something changes, assignments adjust. No manual intervention needed.

If you're currently dealing with:

  • Manually updating assignments every time someone joins a location, changes roles, or moves
  • Team members missing tasks or training because their assignments weren't updated after a change
  • Former employees still appearing in assignment lists after leaving

Dynamic assignments fix all of this automatically.

How Dynamic Assignments Work

1. Assignments are based on current attributes

Assignment rules are built on user attributes — role, location, location group, ownership group, and user level. Delightree continuously evaluates who qualifies for each assignment based on those attributes.

2. When a user's attributes change — assignments update near real time

  • Someone joins a location or role → matching assignments are added automatically
  • Someone moves between locations or changes role → old assignments are removed, new ones are applied
  • Someone is deactivated or archived → assignments are removed automatically
  • Someone is reactivated → assignments are re-evaluated based on current attributes

3. Users only lose an assignment when they no longer qualify through any path

If a user qualifies for an assignment through more than one rule, removing one path doesn't remove the assignment. It's only removed when no valid rule still applies.

What's Covered

Dynamic assignment behavior applies across:

  • Tasks
  • Forms
  • Training Paths
  • Audits and Site Visits
  • Announcements
  • Policies
  • LoLa

For Admins

  • Assignment rules support AND and OR logic with multi-criteria combinations — no duplicate assignments when a user qualifies through more than one path.
  • You can see exactly why a user holds an assignment, identified by the rule source.
  • Existing static assignments are being migrated to the dynamic system automatically.

This closes a common source of missed tasks and compliance gaps. When assignments are static, changes in team structure create blind spots. Dynamic assignments mean your team always holds the responsibilities that match their current role and location — automatically.
