How to Let Location Owners & Managers See Their Team's Training Progress

The problem: You assigned a training path to a location, but the owner or manager still can't see who's completed it

Why this happens: Assigning a training path to someone puts it under their own "My Trainings" (something they complete), not under them as a reviewer of others' completion.

To get visibility into a team's progress, that person or role has to be explicitly added as a Supervisor when the training path is set up — it isn't automatic just because they manage the location.

How to fix it:

  1. Open the training path's assignment settings.
  2. In addition to assigning the path to the location/role, add the location owner, GM, or relevant role as a Supervisor.
  3. Once added as Supervisor, that person gets a summary/reporting view scoped to their location(s) completion status, scores, attempts, etc.

Common mistake: Assuming that assigning a path to a manager automatically means they can also report on their staff. Those are two separate permissions.

If this doesn't resolve it: Confirm the person has been added as Supervisor for the specific location(s) in question.

If you also want to allow supervisors the ability to 'reassign' training, please be sure to grant them this permission under User Roles (under Settings).
