For Franchisors:

Location Launcher is a comprehensive tool that provides a visual overview for managing new store openings in one convenient location, ensuring alignment among stakeholders on tasks and upcoming steps with real-time status updates for progress monitoring. Goodbye to constant follow-ups with franchisees - everything can be overseen effectively here.

🛠️ How to Setup: 

  1. Gather your new store opening checklists 
    1. The initial step involves collecting all checklists, resources, and necessary documents to ensure a successful launch for your new franchisee. It is essential to review the entire process meticulously, confirming each phase and task required for a seamless opening.
  2. Begin Building your Launcher
    1. Once you have gathered your new store opening checklists, it's time to set up your Location Launcher! You can start with a template or choose to begin from scratch. If you decide to utilize any of the lists or individual tasks on the template, just check the box and click on 'proceed with selection'.     1. Start by setting up your Phases; this can be done by selecting 'Create new list'.Screenshot 2024-04-03 at 4.46.58 PM
    2. Once your Phases have been set up and titled appropriately, you can start adding 'tasks'.
      1. Input the necessary details for your task such as task title and description.
      2. Add in the necessary steps and/or link relevant resources for your franchisee to easily access. You you can easily link existing forms, chapters, and training paths.
      3. Input the # of days the task will take to complete in the 'time duration' field.
        • This field will allow Delightree to automatically populate due dates for each task when adding a new location to Launcher. You can always edit task due dates later on.

Note: With exception to the initial task, you have the option to set up triggers that will prompt completion of a task before moving on to the next one on the list. Additionally, you can mandate the completion of necessary documents.

 

3. Review and Finalize your Location Launcher

Complete Step 2 for all phases, then review your work and give yourself a pat on the back for successfully setting up your Location Launcher! 🎉🥳

Things to Remember:

  • Ensure that titles, task descriptions, and other details are kept concise.
  • Establish reasonable timelines for task completion.
  • You can rearrange the order of your tasks by selecting the appropriate arrow, but remember, this feature is only available in editor mode.
  • You have the flexibility to rearrange the order of phases from left to right in both editor mode and the regular board view.
