      How to add Locations?

      Here we cover the different locations status, how to add each, and more!

      On Delightree, there are 3 kinds of status available for locations :

      Open, Launching, and Pre Launch.

      Open location

      • This is an open and operationally running unit
      • Must have owner(s) and may have workers attached to it
      • People of this location have access to all Delightree modules, except the Location Launcher (because an open location is assumed to be a fully launched location)

      Adding an open location

      1. Click on ‘Locations’ tab in the main menu
      2. Click on ‘+ Open location’ and then ‘Add an open location’

      Launching location

      • This is a location currently going through the Location Launcher
      • May have owner(s) attached to it
      • People of this location have access Location Launcher, Knowledge Base and Chat modules. They also have access to any resources like training paths and forms that they come across as part of the Launcher tasks.

      Adding a launching location

      1. Click on ‘Locations’ tab in the main menu
      2. Click on ‘+ New location’, then, ‘Launch with Launcher’
      3. Or, you can also directly go to ‘Location Launcher’ tab and click on ‘ + Launch with Launcher’

      Pre launch location

      • This is a sold-but-not-open location, or one that’s not ready to launch yet
      • Cannot have owners or workers attached to it
      • Does not have any access to Delightree

      Adding a pre launch location

      1. Click on ‘Locations’ tab in the main menu
      2. Click on ‘+ New location’, then, ‘Add a pre launch location’

      Changing status of a location

      Now that you have a list of locations in open, launching, and pre-launch status, how do you go about changing this status?

      Going from ‘pre launch’ to ‘launching’

      You’d want to do this when you’re ready to add owners to your pre launch location and have them go through your Location Launcher tasks and checklists.

      1. Go to ‘Locations’ tab, search for your pre launch location, and click on the rocket launcher icon in blue.
      2. On the popup, click on the big blue “Launch via Launcher” button.
      3. Once the details for the location are filled out, the location will start on their Location launcher journey, and their status will change to ‘Launching’.

      Going from ‘launching’ to ‘open’

      You’d want to do this when you’re ready to launch!

      1. To do this, the location needs to have successfully completed their tasks on the Location Launcher.
      2. Go to ‘Location Launcher’ tab, and find the location at the top of the page.
      3. Click on “Make live”
      4. And that’s it! 🎊 Add the location’s login details, and now you have an Open location.

      Note : if you don’t find your launching location in this section, you should see it when you scroll down - and that’s because the location has not completed all their tasks yet.

      Going from ‘pre launch’ to ‘open’

      You’d want to do this if you want to skip the Launching process on the Location Launcher and directly want to Open the location.

      1. Go to ‘Locations’ tab, search for your pre launch location, and click on the rocket launcher icon in blue.
      2. On the popup, click on “Click here to change status to open” link.
