Mastering Training: Features & How to Use Them

Learn how to assign, track, and optimize training with automated workflows, skill verification, and real-time reporting.

Training is designed to streamline onboarding, upskilling, and compliance training while providing flexibility and accountability across different roles. Whether you’re a franchisor managing multiple locations or a franchisee ensuring your team stays trained, this guide will walk you through the key features and how to use them.

1. Skill Verification, Quizzes & Prerequisites

Employees earn certificates immediately upon completion—except when skill verification is required. Here’s how it works:

  • No Skill Verifier → Certificate is awarded immediately.
  • With Skill Verifier → Supervisor must evaluate and approve completion before a certificate is issued.
  • Repeating Training Paths → Supervisors must complete evaluations before the cycle ends, or no certificate will be issued for that cycle.
  • Prerequisite Learning Paths enforce structured learning sequences, preventing employees from skipping essential training.

What else is new?

  • Quiz Answer Visibility Toggle: Admins can now decide whether to show or hide correct answers after a quiz submission. Hiding answers helps ensure fairness when learners retake a quiz, while showing them can reinforce learning when immediate feedback is helpful.

Supervisors’ Responsibilities

Supervisors (SA, A, LO) must verify skills to ensure employees meet performance standards before certification. Supervisors can:
✅ View training progress
✅ Evaluate employee skills
✅ Approve or deny certification

2. Assigning & Managing Training Paths

Automating Training Enrollment

  • Assign training automatically by job role.
  • Enable cross-training within a location.
  • Ensure training is accessible via mobile for on-the-go learning.

How to Assign Training

  1. Navigate to Training Paths in Delightree.
  2. Select a path or create a new one.
  3. Choose assignees based on location, job role, or individual selection.
  4. Set supervisors if skill verification is required.
  5. Schedule recurring training (monthly, quarterly, or as needed).

🆕 What’s New: Enhanced Assignment Controls

Now, you have complete control over who supervises, who learns, and what gets tracked.

  • 🎯 Explicit Inclusion/Exclusion: Define exactly which users, roles, or locations a training applies to.

  • 👩‍🏫 Custom Supervisors: Assign specific supervisors for each path ideal when different managers oversee different teams.

  • 🧩 Simplified Defaults: Only training path creators and master admins are auto-assigned as supervisors.

  • 🧠 Manual Completions: Supervisors can manually mark in-person or classroom-style training as complete for particular users, keeping tracking centralized.

  • 🔄 Progress Persistence: If a user is removed and re-added to a training path, all prior progress stays intact.

💡 Tip: Review your existing training paths to ensure supervisors, inclusion rules, and completion permissions match your new workflows.

3. Tracking Progress & Performance

Use Delightree’s reporting tools to:
✅ Track completion rates by location or job role.
✅ Identify top performers and training gaps.
✅ Monitor repeating training cycles and skill evaluations.

Admins, Superadmins, and Location Owners can access tracking results based on their assigned permissions.
