Exploring Delightree's integrated task notifications to enhance business operations efficiency
Delightree handles sending notifications for you through our task automation feature, allowing you to unwind and take it easy! 🙌
How Notifications work:
Once a task is assigned:
- Both assignees and supervisors will receive an email and an app notification.
- Assignee will get a "task has been assigned to you" email
- Supervisor will get a "you have been called upon to supervise" email
When a task is pending:
- Assignees will receive 4 reminders before the task deadline: 7 days before, 2 days before, 8 hours before and 2 hours before.
- Repeating tasks: A task scheduled for Fridays will be visible earlier in the week, allowing employees ample time to complete it. If a task is not completed by the deadline, it will automatically close, and the next available task will be displayed while we mark it as incomplete.
- One-time tasks: These tasks can still be completed after the deadline
How Overdue Tasks Work:
- One Time Tasks
- Assignees have up to 1 week past the deadline to view and complete tasks. After the 1 week grace period, they are no longer available to the assignee.
- If the task still requires completion, the supervisor will need to create and assign a new task.
- Repeating Tasks
- If a task is repeating, it cannot be completed once it has become overdue. For example, if a task is scheduled to repeat every Monday and you missed the previous week's deadline, you will not have the opportunity to complete that overdue task, as the system will have moved on to the next cycle.
