User Level Permissions

This guide outlines what each user role can access and manage within Delightree.

Understanding Permissions in Delightree

There are two types of permissions in Delightree:

1. User Level Permissions (System-Set)
These are the standard permissions tied to each user level (Master Admin, Admin, Location Owner, etc.).
They are built into the system and cannot be modified.

Think of these as the foundation of what each level can access.

2. User Role Permissions (Customizable by You)
These are the job roles your team creates inside Delightree (for example: Owner, General Manager, Shift Lead, Trainer, etc.).

You configure these roles and decide:

  • What they can see

  • What they can access

  • What responsibilities they have

This gives you flexibility to match Delightree to your organizational structure.

In Simple Terms

  • User Level = system-defined access (fixed)

  • User Role = your internal job structure (customizable)

Both work together to determine what someone can do in the platform.

Master Admin

Full system control across all modules, locations, and settings.

Admin

Full operational access with limited company-level controls.

Franchisor Staff

Corporate-level access to manage and support locations.

Location Owner

Oversight access for their specific location(s).

Location Admin

Manages day-to-day operations at the location level.

Location Staff

Frontline users completing assigned tasks and training.
