Using Delightree on Web vs. Mobile

Know where to go to get things done and why some actions are web-only.

Overview

Delightree is available both as a mobile app and a full web platform. Most day-to-day activities — completing training, checking in on tasks, communicating with your team — work seamlessly on mobile. But certain administrative and management actions are only available on web.

This guide explains exactly which features require the web platform so you always know where to go when you need to get something done.

 

If you're trying to do something and can't find it in the mobile app, check the web platform first at app.delightree.com — it's likely a web-only action.

 

What Works on Both Web & Mobile

These features are fully available wherever you access Delightree:

  • Communication: Chat with your team
  • View and reply to announcements
  • Submit and track support tickets
  • Training & Learning: View and complete training paths
  • Access Knowledge Base content
  • Complete evaluations
  • Tasks: View assigned tasks
  • Create private (personal) tasks
  • Mark tasks complete
  • Forms & Compliance: Submit forms and checklists
  • View compliance requirements
  • Complete site visit tasks (as assignee)

 

Web-Only Features

The following capabilities require logging in through a web browser. These are primarily creation, configuration, and management actions — things typically handled by operators, admins, or brand managers rather than frontline users.

📍  LOLA — Location Launcher

LOLA is the tool for launching and managing locations across your franchise network. All LOLA management tasks (below) must be done on web.

  • Adding or launching locations through LOLA
  • Making locations live from the LOLA Dashboard
  • Creating LOLA Boards
  • Viewing analytics on the LOLA Dashboard
  • Downloading location summaries or exports

 

📚  Knowledge Base

Operators can read Knowledge Base content on mobile, but all authoring and organization is web-only.

  • Creating chapters, assets, or folders
  • Editing chapters, assets, or folders
  • Accessing Draft and Deleted sections

 

📋  Forms & Checklists

Team members can complete forms on mobile. But building and managing forms is a web-only workflow.

  • Creating or editing forms
  • Viewing the Form Feed
  • Exporting form responses
  • Sharing forms externally

 

🔍  Site Visits

Site visit participation works on mobile, but creating and configuring visits requires web.

  • Creating or editing site visits
  • Creating tasks within a site visit

 

🎓  Training Paths

Learners can access and complete training on mobile. Operators managing training content and assignments must use web.

  • Creating training paths and all edits
  • Assigning training paths to users or locations
  • Cross-train assignments
  • Marking training as complete (admin action)
  • Viewing the 'Pending Evaluation' list (all users awaiting evaluation)

On mobile, a Learning Owner (LO) can see cross-trained assignees but cannot assign cross-training to anyone. That action requires web.

🛡  Compliance

  • Accessing the dedicated Compliance section (web only — not surfaced on mobile)
  • Uploading compliance documents and managing approvals
  • Adding compliance docs and conversation logs to locations

 

Uploading Compliance docs via Launcher (LOLA) is available on mobile.

MEMBER MANAGEMENT

  • Bulk resending invitations
  • Adding a profile image for a member
  • Archiving a member
  • Transferring account ownership
  • Deleting an active member

LOCATION MANAGEMENT

  • Adding locations or bulk uploading locations
  • Editing location details
  • All location status actions (make live, move to prelaunch, archive, terminate)
  • Viewing Location Activity
  • Adding members from the Location page
  • Full location detail view (web shows significantly more detail than mobile)

 GROUPS

  • Creating or editing Location Groups (LG) and viewing LG Performance
  • Creating or editing Ownership Groups (OG) and viewing OG Performance
  • Creating Location Instances
