Empower Store Owners and Managers to Run Their Own Site Visits (No Corporate Oversight Needed)
Spot compliance gaps early
Location admins can now create, configure, and complete site visits for their own location — without waiting on a franchisor admin to initiate one. Franchisor-led site visits are unchanged, and HQ can still see everything.
Before this change:
- Location admins had to wait for a franchisor admin to create a site visit before they could run one
- Self-directed compliance checks weren't possible
- Gaps often surfaced during formal visits instead of being caught earlier
Owners and managers can now get ahead of it.
How It Works
1. Location admin creates a site visit
From the Site Visits section in Delightree, a location admin with the right permissions can create and configure a site visit for their own location. Cross-location access is not permitted — each location admin can only create visits for their own location.
2. Run the visit and capture the results
The site visit flow works the same way it does for franchisor-led visits. Complete the visit, add notes, and submit — all within Delightree.
3. Franchisor admins can view it — with clear separation
Franchisor admins can see location-admin-created visits in the Site Visits section, with filters and visual labels to distinguish them from franchisor-led visits. The default view shows franchisor-led visits — they can filter to include or exclusively view location-admin-created visits.
Setup for Franchisor Admins
Permission update required. Location admins don't have site visit creation access by default. Franchisor admins need to update user role permissions for any location admins who should be able to create site visits.
Franchisor-led site visit workflows are completely unchanged. Creating and assigning site visits to franchisor users and location admins works exactly as before. This is an additive capability for location admins only.
